Our Principals

QUENTIN REMY
Quentin Remy is the mastermind behind the process that has enabled Blair Remy to evolve in the A&E marketplace. In his thirty-eight years as a licensed professional he has been involved in hundreds of multi-million dollar projects. Through those experiences Mr. Remy recognizes the importance of getting the design off the ground and running in the right direction. He accomplishes this with his fearless ability to ask good, clarifying questions early in the design phase, ensuring that the needs and concerns of affected stakeholders are voiced and addressed.

Whether he is learning, teaching, planning, programming, or designing, Remy displays an eagerness to listen, the ability to analyze, a willingness to communicate, and the desire to provide alternative solutions — a methodology he has practiced and one he has imparted to his principals and staff. This methodology has proven to consistently satisfy customers, respond to sustainability, and generate budget conscientious projects, resulting in multiple design awards, repeat clients, and high ACASS ratings.

STEVE BLAIR
A founding member of Blair Remy Architects, Steve Blair, has been the design force to be reckoned with in the industry for over 25 years. With an uncanny ability to quickly draw design solutions, Mr. Blair incorporates the information gathered early on into an immediate picture of what the project could look like. His drawings are not only artistic and beautiful, but they represent the project requirements accurately and efficiently for the stakeholders to immediately be able to see the outcome of their early input in building form.

RICK WENTE
Rick Wente has been a part of Blair Remy Architects for over 14 years. As the Senior Project Manager of the firm, Mr. Wente has the diplomatic skills to orchestrate a team, whether comprised of in-house staff or through the use of subcontractor teams, and along with the client, to keep a project on track, on time and within budget. During the charrette process, while Mr. Remy asks the design questions and Mr. Blair sketches, Mr. Wente is busy crossing the “T’s” and dotting the “I’s” with his questions addressing the technical requirements of the project. Leading the project through completion, Mr. Wente oversees the day-to-day tasks through the life cycle of the project.

Our Staff

At Blair Remy, we’ve proudly incorporated on our staff some of the brightest, most talented, and most devoted professionals in the industry to form a solid and secure foundation. From our architects, interior designers and engineers, to our CAD professionals and administrative personnel, each person on our staff helps support a solid base from which our projects develop. Working together, our staff has enjoyed consistent success and promoted a spirited and cohesive team environment that makes the company an all around great place to work.

Teaming Philosophy

The long-range impacts of successful collaboration and combined supportive efforts sometimes, sadly, go unnoticed. In order to meet our business objectives and care for our customers, we KNOW that we need great teaming partners and we know that we must have long-term, trusting, and reliable collaboration in order to succeed.

We have been very fortunate to find those partners and work with them over the years. Several of the our partners, listed below, have contributed to winning fourteen (14) AMC/USAF awards since 2001; clearly, the result of great working relationships and a positive experience for our teaming partners and clients.
